While you make every effort to keep your pet as healthy as possible, we know that sometimes they will get sick or injured. Whether it is chronic allergies, ear infections, coughing, vomiting and diarrhea, or a sudden lameness, we want to see your pet as quickly as possible.
Most of our diagnostics are done in-house, with many results available in under an hour. This includes blood cell counts and internal organ profiles, full urinalysis, and digital x-rays. If specialty testing is needed to diagnose your pet's condition, we will submit those tests to a specialty laboratory, and still have most results within a couple of days. If your pet has a chronic medical condition we can manage it here and save you a trip to a specialty clinic.
You don't want your pet to spend unnecessary days in pain or discomfort, and neither do we! That's why we often have same-day appointments available. The sooner you bring your pet in, the sooner we can help them feel better. Call today to schedule!
URGENT CARE SERVICES
We accept urgent care cases during our normal business hours.
Emergencies are stressful for you and your pet, especially if you're not sure where to go. When dealing with an emergency, timing is everything. If your pet is having a seizure, has been in a fight with another pet, or has been hit by a vehicle, it is critical to have them seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible. If your pet is having an emergency, they should seen asap ! We ask that you call the hospital to let us know the circumstances of your pet's emergency so that our team can be prepared to admit your pet OR refer you directly to a specific emergency facility if more advanced care is necessary.
In some instances Dr. Nash may already be with another urgent care/emergency case OR in surgery and unable to assist your pet. At those times and when we are off duty, we will refer you to MEDVET ER services (614)846-5800
